Mike Martone Jr.

Co-Founder & Co-Artistic Director

Graduated from Branford High School in 2001 where he was fortunate to play in Crazy for You!, Lil’ Abner, and especially the role as Nicely Nicely Johnson in Guys and Dolls. He attended Western Connecticut State University where he obtained his B.S. in Music Education. Mike performed in several operas as a member of the WCSU Opera Ensemble. Credits include; Tamino in The Magic Flute, Don Basilio in The Marriage of Figaro, King Kasper in Amahl and the Night Visitors, as well as several others. Mr. Martone graduated with high honors and was awarded the Ruth P. DeVillafranca Certificate which is given to the most promising music educator as deemed by the music faculty. He has his M.S. in Music Education from WCSU again graduating Magna Cum Laude. In addition to Music Direction, Pit Conducting, Set Design and Construction, and Prop making, Mike has performed is several shows including: Cedric/Lord Voldemort in Puffs, William Barfee in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Max Bialystock in The Producers.

Colin Sheehan

Co-Founder & Co-Artistic Director

Colin Sheehan (Co-Founder & Co-Artistic Director) is a local arts enthusiast and serves as the Arts, Culture Special Events & Programs Coordinator for the Town of Branford/Parks & Recreation Department, Director of The Branford High School Performing Arts’ Spring Musical and Producer of the Broadway Concert Series/Community Arts Coordinator at Legacy Theatre. He graduated from Branford High School and continued his studies at Wagner College earning a B.A. in Theatre and Speech Performance. In 2003, he made his Broadway debut in the closing night production of Les Misérables. In 1999, Colin appeared numerous times on The Rosie O’Donnell Show both in New York City
and at Universal Studios in Orlando. After College, Colin worked for The Wendy Williams Show, Seaview Productions and Tabor Arts Branford. Colin has produced, directed, hosted, and performed in the tri-state area and aboard Broadway Cruises, Nickelodeon Cruises, and R Family Vacations Cruises & resorts. He has also directed productions at
Ivoryton Playhouse and Legacy Theatre. Colin is a philanthropist and has hosted, produced and raised funds and recognition for many organizations in Branford and beyond. He is a member of the Branford Lions Club, former Branford Community Foundation Board Member (currently sits on the Development Committee), 2021 Beacon Award

Paola Rarick

Choreographer

Branford (Choreographer) is thrilled to be a part of the creative team at Shoreline Theatre Company.  Paola has been co-owner of StudioOne Dance Center in Branford for the past 10 years.  Aside from teaching and operating her studio, Paola has choreographed numerous musical theatre productions such as James and the Giant Peach and The Little Mermaid at Walsh.  She also serves as choreographer for Artful Living Productions in Killingworth where she choreographed productions of Mary Poppins, The Little Mermaid, and The Music Man.  She is also currently working on Beauty and the Beast.  Paola received a B.S. in Corporate Communications at SCSU.  She resides in Branford with her husband Bill and her daughter Bella

Chris Lemieux

Summer Theatre Camp and Resident Director

Chris Lemieux is an actor, director, writer, and teaching artist based in Branford, Connecticut. Lemieux graduated from BHS in 2009. He went on to receive a BFA in Acting from Pace University. He has performed in many tours and regional shows around the US and is a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association. As an actor for STC, Chris appeared as Leo Bloom in The Producers and Amos Hart in Chicago. Chris is also a resident actor at the Legacy Theatre, appearing on stage in A Play That Goes Wrong as Robert, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown as Charlie Brown, and he has returned every year to play the Ghost of Christmas Present, Marley, and Fezziwig in Legacy’s annual production of Christmas Carol. As a director for Shoreline, Chris directed Peter and the Starcatcher, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Puffs..., and their summer youth shows for the past six years and plans on returning for Shoreline’s youth production in summer 2024!
